jeremiah’s uncle was the baron of spiders in this rusted out black kingdom, which meant, of course, that jeremiah was royalty. all the other spiders treated jeremiah real nice, and they even let him get a really nice corner in the older brother’s room, where he could read over the boy’s shoulder, and later, listen to his music.
